Dear Parent,
In addition to information already provided please note the following:
- See summary grid below advising on courses of action in various scenarios
- COVID-19 Symptoms reminder
A high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)
A new continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you have a cough, it may be worse than usual)
A loss of or change in sense of smell or taste
Gastrointestinal Symptoms (diarrhoea and vomiting)
- Often parents contact school about whether or not a child should be sent to school as the child has a ‘cold’. In simple terms – if the child has a new cough of any sort (or a temperature) please err on the side of caution and do not send them to school.

We were delighted to learn that two of our pupils came third in an ALL IRELAND LEGO COMPETITION, in which they had to design an NHS Hospital. We also love how these two brothers worked together to complete this. Well done boys.

Dear parents
This year, with the additional precautions in place, we ask that Birthday cakes are NOT sent into school for the class.
We know that this is a lovely part of the Birthday routine. However, we ask for your full co-operation this year.
Thank you.

Dear parents,
First of all, a massive thank you for working alongside us as we’ve tried to provide you with learning materials and guidance during this time. Seesaw has been a fantastic way for us to communicate with each of you and we plan to use it as we move forward into the 2020-21 Academic year.
When you pick up your child’s materials on Monday 29 June, along with books and reports, you’ll also find a note regarding Seesaw and a new QR code for your child’s next class. Please get this set up as soon as possible so that it’s ready for August.
In order for this to run smoothly, we will be ‘archiving’ the class on Friday. If you wish to download a zip folder of your child’s account from this year, follow the instructions in this link https://help.seesaw.me/hc/en-us/articles/208754866-How-do-parents-download-a-zip-archive-of-their-child-s-work-
Thank you once again for your continued support and understanding.
