Primary Three ventured into the school grounds as part of their minibeasts topic. They collected a variety of natural materials and used them to create their very own minibeasts. Drawing on their own experiences, the children carefully designed and constructed some wonderful creations. Primary three had great fun in the outdoor classroom hunting for minibeasts. The children enjoyed digging in the earth and using magnifying glasses and viewing containers to closely observe the different minibeasts they discovered. They were excited to explore their habitats and learn more about these fascinating creatures. It was a wonderful morning filled with curiosity, exploration and hands on learning.

The primary three students gathered excitedly in the school gardens to release the butterflies they had carefully raised from tiny caterpillars. For several weeks, the children had watched in amazement as the caterpillars ate leaves, formed chrysalises and slowly transformed into beautiful butterflies. On this special day, the students gently opened the container and cheered as the colourful butterflies spread their wings and fluttered into the bright blue sky.
