Primary 5 / Digital Leaders led Assembly to launch the beginning of our i-Challenge Week. Their main theme was 'Heroes', reminding the children that they can be God's hero in their daily lives. The Digital Leaders reminded all classes of the i-Challenge Week and promoted our fundraising campaign. Take a look through the photo gallery to see how they got on.

The P5 pupils have been very excited to start the After School Bike Club with Dave Wiggins, our Sustrans Active Travel officer.
They spent some time talking about ways to stay safe while cycling and even learnt how to put on their helmet and ensure it fits correctly before playing some games on their bikes.
A huge thank you to Dave for coming into school each Wednesday to take this activity.

Primary 5 have been busy in class investigating Leaflets. They looked at a variety of leaflets and discussed the content, colours, text, pictures, photographs and how the overall leaflet is aimed at a specific audience. The children have been working on drafting and designing their very own leaflet based on the topic of Penguins. They used the iPads to help them with their research.

Shrove Tuesday is also known as Pancake Day, or Pancake Tuesday because it is the one day of the year when almost everyone eats a Pancake! This was definitely the case in Primary 5 today with everyone indulging in Pancakes! The children really enjoyed choosing the different toppings for their Pancake and then decorating them before tucking into their delicious treat!

Primary 5 recently visited the Navan Centre to participate in an Ancient Egyptian morning of workshops. The children studied Ancient Egypt in Term 1 and this was a great opportunity for them to revise and display their knowledge on this topic.
