The Primary 5 girls Athletics Club ended on Thursday with what was a damp afternoon. This however did not dampen the girls sports spirit!! Everyone really enjoyed the series of lessons on Athletics in Term 3. Each week almost all girls joined together on the MUGA pitch to develop their skills in running, hurdling, throwing and jumping. Mrs Williamson, Miss Neill and Mrs Peacocke were very impressed with some of the talent shown by the girls and wish them well as they continue to develop these in Primary 6 and 7. Click on the link below to view the girls in action!

Primary 5 have had a fantastic morning at Tayto Castle. They had a tour of the factory, watching the process of the crisps and other corn snacks being made from potato to package. They really enjoyed sampling all of the different products! They were commended by the tour guides on their super behaviour and good manners and left with lots of treats to enjoy at home. Here are some photos of the class meeting Mr Tayto before the tour began.

Recently both Primary 5 classes enjoyed the "Our City" Young Enterprise day.
The children learnt all about the various components needed to build a city. They identified a wide variety of buildings and what purpose each had.
The whole day was a most enjoyable experience and the children ended the session by designing and producing their very own city.
