We are really happy to announce that the school Library is now up and running again in school after more shelving has been added to accommodate new books. Thank you to all those who have donated books to our school library, creating a wonderful space for the children to enjoy reading a book of their choice.
The Primary 7 children applied to be a Librarian and we were delighted to announce our new Librarians in Assembly today. They will be working alongside the teachers, responsible for the upkeep of the library, ensuring it remains tidy and helping classes to scan books in and out. We hope they enjoy their new role.

Did you know, there are about 25,000 types of bees in the world, with probably more species awaiting discovery?
Were you aware that most species are solitary, that males cannot sting, and that collectively, they help to pollinate an estimated one third of all the food we eat?
In our first term Primary 7 have been learning about bees and how we can help them...
Take a look at the photos when we enjoyed tasting some honey on toast! The class have enjoyed learning all about bees and how important they are as well as designing beautiful honey posters and labels! It definitely has left them buzzzzzzing!! The definitely have become a force to 'bee' reckoned with!

Primary 2 travelled to Armagh Palace Stables today for our 'Apple Trip' We learned how apples come from the tree, to the factory, to the shops and to our homes. We saw how apple juice was made in the 1700s and how to make apple potato bread. We made our own apples in the craft room and played lots of fun apple games! Scripture Union started back this term on a Monday afternoon for all children P4-P7.
We have been thinking about Jesus being the light of the world and how we can shine our light to others by telling them about Jesus.
We made our own lights and carved a pumpkin to explain how being a pumpkin is like being a Christian!
A huge thank you to Suzie from WPC who came to SU and finished off this half-term by looking at Mark 8:22-34 (Jesus heals a blind man at Bethsaida).
The children have enjoyed singing songs, playing games, craft and lots of fun!
