It was a privilege for us to welcome Mr Peter Graham from Habitat for Humanity into our School Assembly this morning. Mr Graham was in school at the end of last year working with the P5 and P7 year groups. These year groups participated in some fundraising, where each child was given a packet of Smarties to enjoy. They then filled the empty tubes with 20p coins and returned them to school. We were delighted to be able to present Mr Graham with a cheque today for £250 which will go towards providing places for people to call home. A huge thank you to families who contributed to this very worthwhile charity. We look forward to welcoming Mr Graham back into school later on in the year to continue his work with other year groups.
