To complete our week on hedgehogs, the children in P2 made their own hedgehog using clay. We pinched and moulded a snout, a tail and added eyes and spines.
We hope our clay hedgehogs will be happy hibernating in their new home!

The Primary 7 children finished school on Monday 24 June after a magnificent Leavers' Assembly. On Wednesday the whole school once again joined together to say goodbye to two of our pupils who are leaving us. Mr McCambley wished both pupils God's richest blessing and presented them with a keepsake for their memories in Waringstown Primary School. A cheque for £500 was also presented to Mrs McCullough after our recent Crazy Hair Day in support of Goal Line.
Mrs McCracken, who has taught in our Nursery was also presented with a bouquet of flowers as we bid her a fond farewell as she retires from the teaching profession. THANK YOU Mrs McCracken for all of your wonderful work.

Our Primary 2 children enjoyed a sunny day at Seapark Beach yesterday. We built lots of sandcastles on the beach and collected shells before having a paddle in the water!
We had a lovely ice-cream and finished our day with some fun at the playpark. What a super, fun-filled day!

Sports Day 2024 was a huge success. The sun shone for us while the events ran to schedule. It was lovely to see our MUGA area full to capacity with each year group competing along with parents, grandparents and friends spectating. The children all competed showing great sportsmanship amongst their peers cheering and celebrating each other on. Take a look through our photo gallery to view the large array of pictures:

On Thursday 06 June our boys rugby team played in the 'Best Tournament' held at Banbridge Academy.
The boys played four games in total and did us proud as they represented us all so well!
We are delighted that in this group there are some boys who have never played rugby before and now are playing competitively.
