On Monday Primary 2 had a pirate-themed party day in school. We dressed up at pirates or fairies, read pirate stories and sang pirate songs. We decorated our own pirate hat and made treasure maps. We had pirate-themed snack and made under-the-sea desserts. We finished our day by getting our faces painted and a pirate tattoo!

It was Primary 2 Mrs Munce's turn to do their class assembly. The children spoke well as they described the types of houses they lived in. This was followed by a game show: 'Who lives in a house like this?' where Mrs McCracken and Mr McKee were contestants. A selection of staff homes were displayed and the children enjoyed guessing which staff member lived in which house! The children then performed their own version of the 3 little pigs story. Each time the big bad wolf blew a house down, the little pigs ran to the safety of their Father's house. In the end, the wolf said sorry and was invited to stay in the Father's house by Father pig and the 3 little pigs.
The Bible says in John 14: My Father's house has many mansions...I am going there to prepare a place for you.
