Primary 2 recently enjoyed a fantastic beach day! We played in a variety of areas outside in the lovely sunshine before coming inside to a special seaside themed snack. We then got creative and made our own seaside desserts to bring home, they looked so yummy!
We enjoyed a lovely picnic lunch up on the Muga and then came back down to the classroom for some ice-cream and dancing. A brilliant day from start to finish!

This term our topic is WATER!
Recently Primary 2 have been having lots of fun learning about sea creatures through the story ‘Commotion in the Ocean’. We have also been thinking about the pollution in our waters and what we can do to help keep the oceans clean and protect the animals that live there.

In Primary 2 we are having a ‘Polar Express’ themed week. On Monday the children came to school dressed in their pyjamas and dressing gowns. The children enjoyed a cup of hot chocolate with marshmallows and cream and a yummy cookie while listening to the Polar Express audio story. All numeracy and literacy activities this week will be based around the story of the Polar Express.
