What a fun and busy day Primary 2 recently had decorating their classroom and making Christmas tree shortbread. Their daily snack even followed the Christmas tree theme.
The day was rounded up by watching ‘The Star’, reminding us of the true meaning of Christmas.

For our topic ‘Wonderful Me’, Primary 2 have been labelling the various parts of their face and body. They each enjoyed getting creative with clay, making and painting their own face. Messy but lots of fun!

Primary 2 had lots of fun making tasty pumpkin biscuits. We made orange icing and decorated our own biscuit using lovely sweet treats. The best part was taking them home to eat.

Primary 2 have been learning lots of new facts about hedgehogs. During play this week we enjoyed shaping and moulding our piece of clay into the perfect hedgehog shape. We pinched the clay to help it resemble a snout and inserted lots of wooden sticks and pasta to resemble its spines. The children all had great fun getting their hands dirty and seeing their final master piece. I think you’ll agree they did a great job!
