At Waringstown Primary School we believe that every achievement, big or small, deserves to be celebrated. Whether it’s winning a medal at a sports event, performing in a show, earning a badge in Scouts or simply trying something new and showing great determination, we are always proud of our pupils.

In our assemblies and around school, we love to hear about the amazing things our children do outside of school. These moments show us how talented, brave and hardworking our pupils are in all areas of life.

We celebrate all success together and we are incredibly proud of each and every member of our school community.

We began the new school term with a cheerful and exciting assembly! Everyone was excited as we came together to celebrate the start of a new learning journey.

A special moment was the presentation of Mr McCambley’s Golden Postcards, given to pupils who have shown great effort, kindness and a great attitude. These postcards are a wonderful way to say “well done” and encourage everyone to keep up the great work.

Congratulations to all our amazing recipients, we are so proud of you!

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all those who supported and purchased books from our School Book Fair in February.

Your generosity at the School Book Fair has meant that Scholastic have given us credit to purchase a total of 160 new books for our school.  Our Primary 5 and 6 classes were delighted with a delivery of new class novels which the children will have an opportunity to read next year.

Your continued support plays a vital role in enriching our pupils’ learning experiences, and we are so grateful for your involvement in our school community.

Thank you once again for helping us foster a love of reading!
