Recently our girls' football team travelled to King's Park Primary School for the Mid Ulster Shield. The girls played seven games in the group stage. We were defeated in four of our games however our goal scorers managed to get two balls through the net.
We won against two strong teams, Maralin and Edenderry with two goals secured in the two games.
Our last game was against the host team, King's Park. This was a very tough game which ended in a scoreless draw.
The girls played really well and were delighted to finish 4th in their group. They were excellent ambassadors for WPS, 'Working, Playing and Succeeding Together', while communicating and supporting each other.
A great day of football, well done girls!

Recently our Primary 4 children came to school as evacuees. They prepared name labels and identity cards and imagined what it would have been like for children in the 1940s.
Primary 4 Mr Gault's class led a whole school assembly, focusing on VE Day as part of the wider school celebrations.
Both classes took part in 'Black Out Curtain' investigations and several art activities.
