P5 Mrs Peacocke’s class enjoyed preparing for their class assembly last week. Their assembly was called ‘The Climb’ and every boy and girl in Primary 5P helped to tell the important message to the rest of the school. They explained to the school that we don’t always find everything easy in life, both inside and outside of school. These things that we can find difficult are like climbing mountains. We have to break the climb down into smaller targets and if we take one small step at a time then we can reach and achieve our final goal. As we travel on our journey it is important to remember that God is always with us and that we need to keep on trying with His help.
Mrs Peacocke is very proud of every pupil in her class for all of the hard work they have put in to learning their class assembly and performing it so brilliantly. Well done Primary 5!!

We have been learning how to round numbers to the nearest 10 and 100. We have enjoyed some practical activities and games on the interactive whiteboard and will be practising these on our class iPads throughout the rest of the week. Here is the link to a great game for you to play at home.

On Wednesday the 12th October both Mrs Williamson's and Mrs Peacocke’s Primary 5 children embarked on an EGYPTIAN ADVENTURE.
They all came to school dressed as Egyptians and spent an activity filled day based completely around their World Around Us topic of The Egyptians. Everyone looked spectacular and a HUGE thanks goes to all the parents who helped this day be a great success with supporting us with the excellent costumes and accessories!! Even the teachers got into the spirit of Ancient Egypt. Egyptian Pyramids and Flatbread were made during the day, with some Egyptian dancing in the afternoon. All of the Primary 5 children enjoyed this educational and fun learning experience.
