On Thursday 28th February, Waringstown hockey team travelled to Cookstown for the mid Ulster tournament. Waringstown beat:
Portadown integrated 8-0
Armstrong 5-0
Millington 5-0
Edenderry (Banbridge) 2-2
In the semi final we played Edenderry (Portadown) and won 2-0
The final was against Maralin, which we won 2-1
We are now Mid Ulster champions!!

Waringstown had another Hockey tournament on Thursday. This time it was the turn of the ‘B’ teams to show their skill. Team 1 was captained by Helen Erskine and included Lauren McRoberts, AmyPeacock, Katie Humphries, Sarah Wylie, Caitlyn Young and Holly Abraham. The team were outstanding, winning every match and conceding only one goal.
