We said goodbye to our P7 on Leavers' Day with a very special 'Waringstown Olympics' Assembly followed by a fun day with games, a bouncy castle and ice-cream! We wish all our Leavers well as they move on to their new schools in September. "Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened." (Dr Seuss)

Mrs EJ Abraham (School Kitchen Unit Supervisor) arranged and served a delicious celebratory lunch for the P7 children in May after their London Residential. This was another first for the school and we warmly thank the Kitchen Team for this very thoughtful gesture. The children clearly enjoyed their meal together both in the hall and over an extended play time.

Following on from the P7 London Residential visit the children received their Leavers Hoodies in Assembly. Thank you to Mrs Campbell and Mrs Johnston (P7 parents) for organising the ordering of the hoodies.
Primary 7 have enjoyed wearing them over the recent weeks. You may spot the children in their chosen colours arriving and leaving school.

A great start to our afterschool P6/7 girls football. The girls are learning the basics of football, developing new skills and simply having some fun with their friends. All girls welcome every Tuesday until the end of Term 3!

The Rev Lennox and Mrs Patterson visited school today to leave a gift for each Primary 7 child. The gift was a pencil case containing stationery and a little chocolate treat. Primary 7 really appreciated the gift and will definitely put them to good use in the classroom. We thank Rev Lennox and Mrs Patterson for this very kind gesture.
