Mr Mitchell's class took on a creative design challenge inspired by Viking long boats. Using just tinfoil, pupils explored how different hull shapes affect a boat's ability to float. Each boat was then carefully tested with marbles to see which design could carry the most before sinking. After plenty of suspense, one standout boat held an incredible 196 marbles - a record-breaking result and a brilliant example of thoughtful design!
