Primary 5 from both classes have recently been visiting Primary 1 to experience being Reading Buddies. The Primary 5 children enjoyed taking on this responsible role while the Primary 1 children enjoyed this lovely experience of the older children reading to them. This scheme continues to develop as we approach the end of Term 2.

Primary 5 worked in groups to create an argument on the "Advantages" and 'Disadvantages" of watching Television. Some very interesting points were raised! The children enjoyed researching the issues around this subject. Well done to the groups who presented their arguments very well.

Primary 5 enjoyed making Mothers Day delights for their mummies. They enjoyed making a scroll with their top 10 favourite things about their mum. They also used green screen to include a special photograph in the inset of their cards.

Recently pupils from Primary 5 enjoyed a visit from Habitat for Humanity NI. They experienced the Our Waste Our World Programme. The pupils enjoyed the creative and interactive workshop and are much more aware of the impact that waste in NI has on families living in poverty and in the developing world.
