P5 Mrs Peacocke’s class have had great fun this week preparing for their Egyptian Assembly. They have loved being on stage and performed so well in front of the school in their Assembly. Mrs Peacocke is very proud of all of her pupils and would like to thank the children and their parents for the time and effort that has been put in to learning their words and providing their costumes. They brought the school right back to 1279BC and acted out a sketch showing what life would have been like in Egypt. They ended the Assembly with a beautiful song ‘Thank You Lord.’ We hope you enjoy the photos.

Primary 5 Mrs Williamson's class held their Harvest Assembly on Friday 12th October. They decorated the assembly hall with the help of Mrs Wilson. The whole school, including the Nursery unit joined together in celebrating the season of Harvest. Everyone worked together to contribute to the decorations for the hall, a special mention needs to go to Mrs Emerson and the Nursery who allowed us to borrow their farm vehicles and machinery for the morning! Harvest is a time of celebration and to thank God for what has been provided to us through this years hard work and labour. The whole assembly were further treated to a superb performance from Senior Choir. Primary 5 really enjoyed performing and Mr McCambley give them a huge thanks at the end of Assembly. Mrs Williamson was extremely proud of Primary 5 and rewarded them with a special treat - this proved a great end to their day!
We were absolutely delighted with the response to the Food Bank Appeal once again. The Friday Assembly photographs reveal the wonderful response to the appeal. As usual we have been simply humbled by your generosity and kindness. Thank you for supporting the school in this most practical way. Even the Nursery helped to bring in items of food!
A special mention to Primary 7 Mrs Erskine's class who organised all of the food products and prepared them for collection. A very busy morning indeed but very worthwhile for everyone involved!
THANK YOU once again!!
