On Wednesday the 14th October both Mrs Williamson's and Miss Neill’s Primary 5 children embarked on an EGYPTIAN ADVENTURE.
They all came to school dressed as Egyptians and spent an activity filled day based completely around their World Around Us topic of The Egyptians. Everyone looked spectacular and a HUGE thanks goes to all the parents who helped this day be a great success with supporting us with the excellent costumes and accessories!! Even the teachers got into the spirit of Ancient Egypt. Our day started with an Assembly led by Mr McCambley, this also included the Reverend Thompson telling the story of Moses which fitted very nicely into our Egyptian theme. Egyptian Pyramids and Flatbread were made during the day, with some Egyptian dancing in the afternoon. All of the Primary 5 children enjoyed this educational and fun learning experience.
