Primary 3 recently enjoyed a Phonics Awareness Day. The children in Primary 3 were delighted when their parents came into school to gain experience in phonics directed by Mrs D Martinet. The lesson began with all the children and their parents building words by listening to the sounds.  The lesson finished with parent and child playing word building games.  A great time was had by all! The children were thrilled when the parents struggled to sound and build a very challenging word from Mrs Martinet!
