Mrs Waddington, one of our parents, recently came into Primary 2 to teach them all about how to be an Architect. They learned some new words like ‘scaffolding’, ‘site’, ‘plans’, ‘foundation’ and ‘quarry’. P2 are now going to design their own houses and they cannot wait!
Also Ollie’s daddy, Mr Woods kindly came into Primary 2 on Monday to teach us all about his exciting job of being a builder. We learned lots of new information and some of the children even got to build a wall.

P2 finally got the opportunity to go on their village walk and what a lovely fresh morning it was. They each observed the different types of buildings and homes as they walked through the Waringstown Village, they recorded their findings on their observation sheet and discussed the results on their return to school.
