Girls’ Football Team Show Great Spirit at King’s Park Tournament
Our girls’ football team recently travelled to King’s Park Primary School to take part in an exciting tournament, competing against a number of strong teams.
Although the results were tough, with one win, one draw and four defeats, the team showed fantastic resilience, teamwork and sportsmanship throughout the day. Each match brought new challenges, but the girls never gave up and continued to play with great enthusiasm.
A real highlight of the tournament was the team’s excellent defending. Facing some very strong opposition, the girls worked tirelessly at the back.
Up front, our forwards impressed with their high-energy pressing and determination. They chased down every ball, put defenders under pressure and created chances.
A very special mention goes to our goalkeeper, Clara, who was outstanding throughout the tournament. Clara worked tirelessly between the posts, making a number of excellent saves and demonstrating courage, focus and determination in every game.
Well done to all the girls for representing the school so positively - we are proud of your effort, teamwork and attitude! ⚽
