The girls’ hockey team travelled to Kingspark to play in their hockey league.
Their first match was against Bocombra. It was a tough match, but the final result was a 2-0 win for Waringstown.
The next match, against Dromore, was another 2-0 win.
Next came Kingspark. A very tough match ended in a 1-1 draw.
Our final match was Armstrong. The girls played their socks off and won 2-0.
Despite not having lost a game, the tournament went down to goal difference. Kingspark pipped us at the post, having scored more goals.
Second was a great result.
Well done to all the girls for their hard work and commitment.
