WOOF! It’s me, Waffle (your favourite family member, obviously).
I just thought I’d write to say… WHERE ARE YOU?! Honestly, the house has been a bit ruff without you. I’ve been doing my best to hold things together, but it’s exhausting being this handsome and emotionally supportive.
You’ll be pleased to know I’ve been sleeping in your bed every night. Don’t worry—I’ve kept your spot warm. And by “warm,” I mean covered in fur and a faint biscuit smell. You’re welcome.
Also… small update about your cricket bat. I tried to cope with missing you by hugging it. For comfort. With my teeth. For quite a long time. Anyway… it’s now more of a modern art installation than a bat. Very expressive. Very chewed.
On the bright side, I did investigate your 3D printer. I stared at it for a full ten minutes. I circuited it twice. I gave it a suspicious sniff. I even wagged at it just in case that helped. No luck yet—but don’t worry, I’m pretty sure I’ll have it printing sausages by the time you get back.
Everyone says they miss you, but let’s be honest—I’ve taken it the hardest. I keep listening out for your footsteps and practicing my “YOU’RE HOME!!” zoomies so I’m fully prepared.
So, hurry back soon, yeah? Your bed needs re-shedding, your printer needs supervising, and I’ve nearly run out of cricket bat.
