Primary 7 pupils in Mr Allen and Mrs Davison's classes have been exploring the fascinating world of bees through their literacy work. Through a range of engaging literacy activities, the pupils learnt about the vital role bees play in our environment and how beekeepers care for their hives. They also explored informative texts, studied labelled diagrams and completed bee-themed comprehension tasks.
To finish the topic, the pupils enjoyed a special Bee Day, where they had the opportunity to sample real honey on toast. It was a memorable experience that helped bring their learning to life while developing an appreciation for these important insects.
