Our P7’s have been exploring the exciting world of electrical circuits!
This term, they investigated how series and parallel circuits work, experimenting with different components such as bulbs, switches, buzzers and motors to see how electricity flows, how changes affect a circuit’s performance and tested materials to discover which ones are conductors and which are insulators.
Building on their growing expertise, pupils applied their understanding of complete circuits to design and create their very own steady hand games. From shaping the wire track to assembling the buzzer and power source, they combined creativity with engineering skills to produce fun, challenging games that put players’ steady hands to the test!
It’s been a fantastic hands‑on learning experience that sparked curiosity, problem‑solving, and plenty of ‘light‑bulb moments’ along the way.
