Mr McCambley took advantage of the clement spell of weather and brought his class outside of the classroom and the building this week to carry out some practical measurements. The children worked very well in pairs or small groups using a 30cm classroom ruler, a metre stick and a trundle wheel.
P7 now have a better understanding of the measurements they've been converting in class and will hopefully be able to apply this practical work into their maths skills and understanding from now on.
