This week Mr Allen's Primary 6 class enjoyed an exciting educational visit to the Navan Centre and Fort in Armagh, where they stepped back in time to discover what life was like during the Viking era. Pupils had the opportunity to learn about Viking traditions, clothing, and daily routines through interactive activities and engaging storytelling. From exploring authentic artefacts to trying out writing with quills and ink, the experience brought history to life in a fun and memorable way. The trip was a fantastic opportunity to deepen understanding of our topic and sparked lots of curiosity about this fascinating period in history!
