It was lovely to have Mr McAdam, one of our parents, come into speak to our Primary 4 children about his job as a civil engineer. He spoke to the children about the planning involved in their projects and also about the dangers of rising sea levels due to climate change and it's effects on the Polar Regions.
We must say a huge thankyou to Mr McAdam for not only coming into school, but also for organising that our very own teddy, 'Snowy Waring The Explorer,' is now in Cambridge preparing to go on an expedition to the Antarctic with BAM as part of the British Antarctic Survey. We look forward to seeing lots of pictures of how Snowy is getting on.
