Waringstown Cricket Club was formed in 1851 by Captain Thomas Waring and the Henning brothers, John and George, presumably from the linen factory of John Henning & Co. in the village.

Approximately 375 families are now connected to the fellowship and the Congregation is drawn, not only from the immediate community, but also from towns further a field such as Donacloney, Banbridge, Magheralin, Moira, Lurgan and Portadown.

Love for Life is an independent charity based in Waringstown, working to equip young people with the knowledge, skills and values necessary to make good choices when it comes to relationships and sex. Recognising the inherent worth and value of each individual, Love for Life believes that young people can choose to avoid damaging behaviours, including alcohol, drugs and underage sex, when adequately supported and equipped to do so.

Based in Waringstown, Northern Ireland, we are a Christian organisation for boys of all ages, backgrounds and abilities. We provide a safe environment, and offer a varied programme of fun and adventure, designed to educate, challenge and inspire.
