All the hockey girls in P5, P6 and P7 have shown great commitment this year and it has paid off as the team won the Lurgan College Aspiring Hockey trophy and played superbly in all other matches. For our last day of hockey, the girls had a party to celebrate the success of all the hockey girls and the progress they have made over the year. They enjoyed some party food, singing and dancing. A great afternoon was had by all! At the end Mrs McElhinney and Mrs Hall presented the team with a lovely photo and frame so the girls will always have something special to remember their time playing for Waringstown Primary School.
The teachers would like to say a BIG thank you to all the girls who have attended hockey practice this year and we want to wish the P7 girls every success as they move on to their new school!
