The boys’ football team reached the final of the Champion’s League and the Mullen Cup on Friday 8th May.

Having progressed through a very hard group containing Orchard Primary, Edenderry and Bessbrook, the boys played Bocombra in the semi-final. The score ended Nil-Nil and a golden goal was needed to see Waringstown progress to the final where they played Moyallen Primary School.

After a very hard fought match, Moyallen got the winning goal and ended Waringstown’s ambition of lifting both trophies.

Mr Brown was very proud of the boys and congratulated them all on reaching the final.
