Jack Carson scored a quite magnificent 121 not out and he was ably supported by important contributions of 15 from James Humphreys and 21 from Ross Cockcroft. The Waringstown total of 187 for 4 was never threatened by Clontarf and accurate bowling by J. Humphreys, J. Abraham, J. Froggatt, S. Topping and J. Carson kept the Clontarf batsmen under control. This team had a remarkable season also beating Instonians in the final of the Quoile Cup. They have finished the cricket season unbeaten in all competitions – a truly noteworthy achievement.

Waringstown Primary School representation on the team included Jack Carson, Joshua Abraham, James Humphreys, Ross Cockcroft, Josh Best, Andrew Denver, Mark McElhinney, Leon Wright, Scott Matthews, Joshua Froggatt, Matthew Froggatt, Ryan Vennard & Scott Matthews. A special mention must also go to Jack Carson who played on the NCU Under 13 team this summer as well as the Irish Under 13 squad. Jack also captained an U11 Ulster team in the annual North v South match. Congratulations to the whole squad!
