Today Dave Wiggins, the Active Travel Officer for our area, came into school to present some of our P6 children with their National Standard Cycling certificates and also present our school with our SUSTRANS BRONZE AWARD for all the work we've done this year to promote sustainable travel. We want to thank all of our staff, parents and pupils for taking part in the various initiatives and challenges throughout this year.
The School ECO Council were delighted to be able to present Dave Wiggins with a small gift to go towards a charity that he is raising money for...by cycling 100 miles on an old road bike! This is just a little acknowledgment to all the work Dave has done with us.
