This week in Forest School, we pulled on our wellington boots and coats and headed outdoors for a full perimeter walk of the school grounds.
The children explored a variety of terrain, enjoying the chance to move, climb and wander through areas they don’t usually visit. Along the way, they helped to collect any litter they spotted, showing great responsibility and care for their environment.
The children were then tasked with creating an aerial view picture using whatever materials they could find.
During our end‑of‑session evaluation, many of the children said they had discovered parts of the school they never knew existed! It was wonderful to see their excitement and curiosity as they explored.
