We are delighted to share that one of our Primary 3 pupils entered and won the '2019 Marine Litter Art Competition,' which she entered at home with her parents. The competition was judged by Ulster Wildlife and N.I. Science Festival representatives, this being the 'Judge's Special Commendation.'
Our winner said, "I shredded some rope and glued it on the sculpture. I made corals out of dummies, bike tyres, bottle caps and other plastic. The sand is cut up sponge. The pearls are of a necklace."
As a school we are so proud that families are sharing in our Eco Journey to make Waringstown and areas further afield better and cleaner places.
We are so delighted for our P3 Winner. Well done!
