There was great excitement across Waringstown Primary School as we officially launched our brand new class iPads for all pupils. This exciting development marks an important step forward in enhancing teaching and learning throughout the school.
Pupils from every class had the opportunity to explore the new devices, using a variety of engaging and educational apps. Activities included problem-solving with Lightbot, creative coding through RoboCodo, hands-on programming with Bee-Bot Garden and fun, interactive learning with CBeebies apps. Each session was filled with enthusiasm as pupils quickly developed new skills and confidence in using technology.
The children greatly enjoyed their time with the iPads and have already gained valuable experience in areas such as coding, logical thinking and digital literacy. It was wonderful to see pupils collaborating, experimenting and learning together in such an engaging way.
We are very much looking forward to continuing to use these iPads to enhance and support teaching and learning across the curriculum. The future is bright at Waringstown Primary School and we are excited about the many opportunities that this new technology will bring.
