The Waringstown boys football team delivered superb performances at the recent Mid Ulster Schools 7-a-Side Tournament, securing a well-deserved second place finish among a competitive field of schools from across the local area. The boys started well and confidently won their group matches with victories over Dickson PS and Millington PS. Now qualified for the top seeded games, they went on to beat Bocombra PS and Moyallon PS, which led to their final match against Hardy Memorial. The game was very well contested and a late goal from Hardy secured their win. Throughout the tournament, the team showcased excellent teamwork, sportsmanship, and determination. Very well done boys!
