School Carol Services

This year, I made the decision that we would re-start our Christmas Celebrations with our School Carol Service.  It was wonderful to be able to invite parents, grandparents and supporters into school for the three services.  We have all missed these special times when we can celebrate together and enjoy seeing the children on stage!  I deliberately placed this year’s emphasis on Key Stage Two as P5, P6 & P7 have not had the opportunity to be on stage due to the torrid times associated with Covid-19.  It was most fitting to see these children on stage, especially Primary 7’s prior to leaving us in June.

With Anna Turner leaving us at the end of her Primary 7 year, we were delighted to support her chosen charities: The Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children and The Ronald McDonald House Charity.  We were all incredibly proud to listen to Anna’s personal story as she relayed why these charities mean so much to her and her family.  Didn’t she do well!

The Turner family’s chosen charities were the Ronald McDonald House Charity and The Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children.  I am delighted to be able to inform you that the total raised for the charity thus far is £2563.92

(A DVD may be ordered via Eduspot in January.  Any proceeds from the DVD sales will also go to the charities).
