Once again we eagerly anticipate Sports Day which is scheduled for Thursday 01 June. If the weather is inclement we will move this to Friday 02 June and so on. As the weather has been particularly good, we would encourage you to send your child / ren to school with sun screen, a hat and water.
Children may wear casual sports clothing but it is particularly important that they wear the correct footwear.
The Sports Day will commence at 9.20am sharp on the MUGA pitch.
Break will operate between 10.30am and 11.00am. Tea / coffee and shortbread will be on sale in the School Assembly Hall.
Seating will be at a premium once again so feel free to bring along summer chairs or rugs etc.
Please see the diagram below which highlights the Year Group Zones. As the whole school sports run simultaneously you may need to rotate between these zones if you have several children attending the school.
Please note that parking will be limited in the school grounds. Therefore, it may be more convenient for you to park on the Main Street and walk up the path into school. The Church of Ireland has kindly agreed to open their church car park on Sports Day which should alleviate the pressure on the Mace and village parking. Thank you Rev Martin!
For a parent, grandparent or relative with disability concerns please feel free to park in the Main Staff Car Park right beside the MUGA Pitch.
