I wanted to say a huge thank you, on your behalf, to the staff (Mrs Sloan, Mrs Erskine, Mrs Rodgers, Mrs Parks, Mrs Parker and Mr Somerville) for attending the London Field Trip.
Only those who have attended a similar trip fully understand what a 24 hour a day experience such a trip is! They have been a superb team.
THANK YOU!

We have enjoyed very fine weather today in London. Our Parliamentary Tour was very informative and enjoyable as we heard all about our parliamentary system along with many facts about the The Palace of Westminster.
A coach trip brought us to Wembley where again an informative tour led us behind the scenes. The shop of course was a huge hit with the children and no doubt many gifts were purchased for family and friends.
An enjoyable evening meal set everybody up into good form for our show this evening.
Again, tonight, we'll be late so we'll probably not make any phone calls until Wednesday morning en route to HM Tower of London.
Everyone is very well and in fine form as you can hopefully see from the photos and podcasts of today.
Thank you for your comments to the children via the blog on the school website. This home contact really bolsters the children while we are away so thank you!
We would like to say a sincere word of thanks to:
Mrs Fitzpatrick in the School Office, as she has organised all of the bookings for this trip. This is an incredibly time consuming duty and yet Mrs Fitzpatrick manages this task along with her existing duties. Everything has gone without a glitch and that is because of her hard work over many months.
Mr Egerton has, once again, risen to the challenge of administering a London Blog as part of the school website. We know from previous years that parents and children greatly appreciate this means of communication. Thank you most sincerely!

We had a busy day trying to catch up on an hour long delay of this morning's flight. However, we made good time to Windsor and enjoyed the tour of The State Apartments and a little spell of shopping too!
Everyone ate well at tea time in the hotel before we hit the town for our flood lit tour on the coach. Many of the landmark sights were spotted!
We'll attempt phone calls in the morning after breakfast but everyone is well and sleeping tight.
Thank you for the email messages via the school blog. Keep them coming as we know how much this communication from home helps the children.

We've identified an issue with Android users not seeing the latest updates. The school website is getting an upgrade over the summer to cater for this - but in the meantime, please view the slides below to see a workaround for now.
Basically, you need to clear your phone browser's cache files - so that your phone grabs a FRESH copy of the website.
