We'd all like to send a 'London hello' to all our P7 classmates. We know you're working away with the younger children in school and we've been hearing great reports of how well you're doing.
We miss you all and will catch up next week if we're recovered!
Keep up the good work!
Not sure who's more excited to be at Wembley!...
Click read more to view the complete photoset from Wembley this afternonon.
The group is currently at Wembley, so call back later for pictures. There will be a podcast tonight too.
We were very glad to be allocated our rooms last night after tea and the flight in the Lindon Eye. Peter, our driver, took us across London Bridge to catch a glimpse of Tower Bridge and the White Tower.
We'd very little time for calls last night but we will try and make some over the course of today as we're out late tonight again. Rest assured that the children are all in good form and have eaten a hearty breakfast.
Mr McCambley
The children have had a wonderful first day taking in Windsor Castle and The London Eye.
Just prior to The Eye we had a superb tea in the hotel and it must be said that the children were well catered for in the Shannon Suite ... normally we eat in the restaurant but the hotel have given us a separate dining area which keeps us together and safe.
The weather has been mixed today but we've coped well with just one heavy shower in Windsor.
Thank you to Mrs Fitzpatrick, back in Waringstown for all her organisational skills in booking every aspect of the Field Trip. Today was seamless!
Thank you too to Mr John Egerton for this wonderful blog facility on our school website. As usual, he's been amazing.
Keep the messages coming in as we're reading them out on the bus. A tremendous facility which affirms the children whilst we are away from home.
There may be time tonight for a few home phone calls once we get back to the hotel. EVERYONE is in good health and fine form of a little tired.
Goodnight from London on night one.
