Primary 2 Autumn and Harvest Thanksgiving

As part of Primary 2's Autumn and Harvest thanksgiving topic, the children kindly brought in one item of food that they are thankful for.

All the items were placed in a hamper and given to an elderly member of the community as a token of thanksgiving.

P2 Baking

Primary 2 have been very busy baking some Christmas ginger biscuits. Every child had a role to play, from measuring and putting in the ginger to beating the mixture. We all waited with anticipation while the biscuits were baking, waiting at the door of the oven to see if we could smell the ginger. After waiting very patiently for them to cool, the children carefully decorated them with icing sugar and sweets. We gingerly put them in the little bags and sealed them very carefully.... Enjoy!!!

P2 World Book Day

Primary 2 had an eventful World Book Day. They wore in their cosy pyjamas and brought in their teddy and pillow. The day started with a fun activity making bookmarks which was followed by a story on the carpet while they lay very snugly on their pillow. To end the day Primary 4 came down and read stories which they had written that day.

P2 Visit W5

Primary 2 have been on a wonderful school trip to W5 where they thoroughly enjoyed exploring the different areas of imaginative play. Even though most of them fell asleep on the journey home it was loved by all, perhaps the birthday buns for Miss Ogle made the day! Hope the kids liked their gift..
