The Nursery children recently enjoyed their fun day! They had a bouncy castle, hot dogs on the fire pit, buns and sweets!! Lots of fun was had by all!
The Nursery enjoyed a celebration concert to mark the end of their year. Everyone performed superbly, Mrs Emerson and Mrs Gilpin were very proud of all of the children. A HUGE well done to the Nursery!
Primary 4 Reading Buddies enjoyed a visit to the Nursery during playtime. It was great to see the children who had attended Waringstown Nursery School only four years ago enjoy themselves!
Nursery Sports Day was a great success and all of the boys and girls enjoyed it. Thank you to all the parents and grandparents who came along to show their support.

The Nursery enjoyed a visit to Oxford Island recently. They went on a minibeast hunt in the forest and found lots of little creatures! Everyone had a fun day! Take a look through our photo gallery to see how we got on:
Recently Primary 4G having been visiting the Nursery weekly to read to the children. This role of 'reading buddy' has helped to develop the confidence of those in Primary 4. Everyone enjoyed this experience.
Ezra's Mummy brought baby Martha into the Nursery to help us learn about our new topic 'babies'. She loved seeing the boys and girls and there wasn't a cry from her the whole time!
Recently the Nursery children enjoyed their play outdoors and cooking popcorn around the fire pit! The children enjoyed hearing the popcorn 'pop' and watching it change in shape and size! Then they all loved eating it and got to try salted and sweet popcorn.

This morning the sun shone for the Nursery's Sponsored Cycle where all the Nursery children cycled their bicycles or scooters around the MUGA pitch for twenty minutes. The children enjoyed themselves and their sponsorship money will go towards purchasing gardening equipment and a new outdoor shed for the Nursery. Many thanks to all the family members and friends who came to support us and who gave sponsorship money.
The Nursery children recently enjoyed using their Fire Pit for the first time! It was a lovely Spring day and they all learnt how to keep safe around the fire and then toasted some marshmallows! The children enjoyed eating their treats. The helpers took some over to the office for Mr McCambley and Mrs Fitzpatrick to try!

The Nursery children recently enjoyed a visit from two Paramedics. The Paramedics were familiar faces to the Nursery as one was Emilee-Rae's Daddy and her Auntie Karen. They brought their ambulance car as the ambulance was needed for an emergency! The children had fun putting bandages on each other and even got a print out of their heart rate!
Children in the Nursery recently enjoyed a Teddy Bear's Clinic. Mrs Savage (Daniel's Mummy) came in to talk to the boys and girls about her job as a nurse. She also had time to hold a Teddy Clinic, the boys and girls each brought along their sick teddy to be bandaged up!
