Easter Bunnies Visit The Nursery!

The Nursery recently had some Easter Bunnies visiting them from Jollyes Pet Store. This proved very exciting for the children as they all really enjoyed the experience of seeing and touching the animals.

The children also got to meet Yoda the parrot who was quite shy amidst the noisy Nursery classroom!

The Nursery Revisit Peatlands Park For A Splashing Good Time!

The Nursery children recently enjoyed their second visit to the Woodland School at Peatlands Park.  They saw buds appearing on the trees and daffodils coming up.  They even managed to catch a glimpse of a grey squirrel climing the trees!

Fairytale Ball Time At The Nursery

The children in the Nursery have been learning about Fairytales in the month of March.  Recently they held a Fairytale Ball!  The children enjoyed dressing up, dancing and eating fairycakes for snack.  Even Mrs Emerson and Mrs Gilpin got into the theme!

The Nursery Children Complete Their Sponsored Cycle On The MUGA Pitch!

The children in the Nursery recently completed their Sponsored Cycle on the school's MUGA Pitch.  Everyone had great fun riding around the pitch for twenty minutes to raise funds for outdoor equipment. We would like to pass on a huge thanks to all the parents and family who came to support the event.

The Ambulance Service Visit The Nursery

The Nursery recently had a visit from The Ambulance Service.  The children really enjoyed learning about the role of the Paramedics and seeing all of the apparatus and utensils used inside an Ambulance.  The children especially enjoyed going up and down on the moving ramp!  Take a look at the pictures of the children trying on the Ambulance Uniform and looking after Ted!

A Walk to the Pharmacy is enjoyed by the Nursery!

The Nursery children have been learning about doctors and nurses. On Friday Mrs Emerson and her helpers assisted the children on a walk to the local Pharmacy.  The children enjoyed looking around the Pharmacy and even got to see where we buy medicine when we our sick.

The Nursery join in to support 'Ramp up the Red' for the British Heart Foundation

The children from the Nursery joined in with the rest of the school to support the British Heart Foundation's initiative to raise the profile of healthy eating called, "Ramp up the Red!"

Nursery Nativity was a Delight to Watch – ‘Is there a baby in there?’

The Nursery children enjoyed performing their Christmas Nativity 'Is there a baby in there?' for mums, dads and grandparents. The children all performed brilliantly and the story of the Nativity was told so well. Parents and family enjoyed their singing and each children looked really well in their costumes!

Nursery visit to Peatlands Park

The children in the Nursery really enjoyed their trip to Peatlands Park. The weather was perfect and the children had great fun exploring the woodland school – climbing trees, crawling through tunnels and jumping in muddy puddles!
