Dairy Council Food & Fitness Programme for P5 & P6

Primary 5 and 6 recently enjoyed a visit from the Dairy Council.  The Food and Fitness Programme for Primary 5 and 6 has been developed by the Dairy Council for Northern Ireland to help teach primary school children about the benefits of a balanced diet and an active lifestyle.  The children really enjoyed this experience and had fun participating in all of the various activities.

Gardening Club SPRING Into Action

The Gardening Club sprung into action this week and replanted the Foundation Stage Garden with new alpines. Many hands certainly did make light work of the job and we’re now looking forward to watching the alpines settle into their new bed and hopefully begin to flower!

Thank you and well done! Mr McCambley will be very pleased as he’ll have a much nicer view outside his office window.

New Eco Code

Today in assembly we presented our Eco Code competition winner with her prize (supplied by SUSTRANS). Numerous pupils throughout the school entered the 'design a new Eco Code' competition and recently the School Eco Council met to pick their 'top five' entries. These five were then looked at by some members of the school's SLT and a winner was chosen. The winning Eco Code is now displayed in every classroom and on our main Eco Board.

Thank you to all who participated in this competition.
