The first day is drawing to a close and the children are settling in for the night. We have had a great first day, lots of fun has been had by all. Everyone is well and the beach walk was a particular highlight at Murlough bay, with lots of shells and jelly fish being closely examined and inspected!
We are all looking forward to a good nights sleep and an early start tomorrow morning for breakfast. Then it is on to activities and the fun of the day.
Mr. Kennedy arrived and met us at Murlough bay and says, "Everyone was looking very healthy and enjoying the late summer sun. Slieve Donard and Slieve Commedagh looked particularly beautiful in the late evening light. We took some photographs of all the party and all were in great spirits. We went back to our base at Shannaghmore and did a lovely woodland walk just before a delicious supper of toast and juice (thank you Mrs. Peacock). Lights out happening quite soon and we look forward to another beautiful day at Shannaghmore. Sleep well everyone."
The children have really been enjoying your comments, as Mr. Somerville is passing them all on as they come in. Please keep them coming!
