Primary 6 & Primary 7 Perform At Stormont Cross Country

Pupils from Primary 6 and Primary 7 participated in the Cross Country Event which took place on Saturday 03 February 2018 at Stormont Estate, Belfast in association with Athletics NI and NICS Athletics Club.  The event started with the Primary Boys Race which was a 1000m course around the Stormont Estate.  Each boy had a successful race and were rewarded with a medal and certificate at the finishing line.  The Girls Primary Race started swiftly after the boys.  The girls also performed well and they too were rewarded with a medal and certificate at the finish.  The Waringstown Primary School Squad showed great enthusiasm throughout the event and are commended by Mr McCambley for their performances.  The children showed great support towards each other and enjoyed the morning events.  Mrs Williamson would like to extend a huge thank you to all the parents and grandparents who travelled to Stormont to support the children competing in this event!
