Going Batty in P7

On Wednesday we had Mrs. Stevenson come in and talk to p7 about bats . She is an ecologist with the Environment Agency and was a bat worker in her previous role. She helped people who found roosts in their roofscape. She made a lovely PowerPoint presentation telling us lots of facts about UK bats and the different species that live here. She told us the average roost of bats is 10-20 bats and the biggest she worked with was 3000 bats in a single roost. We had the opportunity to ask lots of questions and Mrs. Stevenson shared amazing bat information and lots of great stories with us.
